Nuneaton & Bedworth Dolphins Sprint Meet

It was an early start at the Pingles for the Nuneaton and Bedworth Dolphins Sprint Meet. The Pingles is a 25m indoor pool, ideal for a sprint meet.

Having photographed at the Pingles before, I had a good idea of what to expect. Lighting is a key factor in sports photography and can restrict the number of ideal positions to take photos from.

Like many pools, the large window at one end combined with a low morning sun made it too bright to photograph at times. The low lights also meant some swimmers were silhouetted.
