Nuneaton Town 4-1 cradley town
It’s just over a year ago that Nuneaton Borough were unable to play their home game against Bromsgrove Sporting after being evicted from Liberty Way. Fast forward twelve months and we have set up a new team playing at Step 6 in the Midland Football League Division 1. Something Boro fans could only hope for following the demise of the Boro.
Today, an attendance of 402 at the Oval watched Darren Acton and Russell Dodd’s Nuneaton Town side climb to the top of the table following a convincing 4-1 win against Cradley Town FC.
The last home game before Remembrance Day and the passing of two loyal supporters, a minute’s silence was held before the game.
Goals from James Harrison, Dom Perkins, Louis Baker, and Harry Jackson gave the Town a convincing win, that Cradley were unable to match.
